This tip may seem obvious but we often tend to leave almost-empty bottles lying around while we go out and buy new ones. Get into the habit of really finishing up your products before purchasing more so that you don’t have so much packaging to sort through all at once. As a result, you won’t feel so discouraged by the task - and you’ll save some money in the process!
INVEST IN A SECOND BIN
The problem with bathroom products is that we naturally tend to throw them in the only waste bin around, i.e. the same one where we also throw used cotton pads and balls of hair. The best way to break this habit is to invest in another bin. Don’t be afraid of how much space it might take, a mini bin will do.
RAISE AWARENESS AROUND YOU
The more people recycle, the merrier! By getting your family on board, there will always be someone to motivate you and remind you to do the right thing!
