Hamburger Recycling Croatia d.o.o. established its first waste management center in Croatia in 2008, following a greenfield investment in the Entrepreneurial zone of Sveta Helena. 

Zagreb Waste Management Center opened in November 2024, as the 53rd Recycling Division location. 

Following the positive regulations and trends of the European Union in the field of waste management and utilizing the latest technological advancements, specialized vehicles, and containers, we are focused on providing the best service to our business partners in the collection of paper for recycling, light packaging waste, and other types of non-hazardous waste.

Hamburger Recycling Croatia d.o.o. is a member of the Austrian Prinzhorn Holding, established over 170 years ago, and consists of three Divisions. Hamburger Containerboard comprises paper mills in 5 European countries. Dunapack Packaging specializes in the production of corrugated board and packaging, operating in 12 countries, and has been present in the Croatian market for over two decades (VALOVITI PAPIR DUNAPACK d.o.o. with a factory in Zabok). Hamburger Recycling, as the third division, is present with over 50 locations in 13 countries.
